If you’ve ever felt a little nervous getting into the dentist chair, you’re not alone. Many people worry about getting treatment at the dentist, but finally we’ve found the most natural and calming solution, and they’re cute as a button.
Welcome Cookie and Marco to Advanced Dental Care Clinic on the Gold Coast.
Our newest members of the team Cookie and Marco are our resident therapy dogs. Whilst our friendly team do everything we can to alleviate nerves and anxiety associated with the dentist, we’ve had to admit that our new friends Cookie and Marco have outdone us with their ability to put our patients at ease.
Both Cookie and Marco are pure bred Havanese and are the most friendly and intelligent pups to train.
Meet The Team
Cookie
Cookie is a four-year-old black-tan girl that loves meeting people. She is an excitable lady that loves attention and a good pat.
Marco
Marco is a 3-year-old black tan boy, he’s a little quieter than Cookie but will nuzzle in for the best cuddles when placed on your lap.
Here To Lend A Paw
Both Cookie and Marco have undergone extensive training at Empower Assistance Dogs in Queensland, but at Advanced Dental Care Clinic on the Gold Coast we understand that not everyone likes dogs, so Cookie and Marco have their own private office where they play together until they’re needed.
At Advanced Dental Care Clinic on the Gold Coast we accept nothing less than excellence, so after every patient the room is thoroughly cleaned to ensure the utmost hygiene. You can expect the highest levels of cleanliness; each treatment room is held to the highest standard.
Cookie and Marco make regular visits to the groomer to ensure they are looking, feeling and smelling their best, so you can enjoy beautiful cuddles with our therapy dogs without that doggy smell.

Anyone that is a little nervous about visiting the dentist should experience the comfort that our therapy dogs can provide. With the introduction of our gentle, non-invasive laser treatments, coupled with our therapy dogs, the most painful part of visiting the dentist will now be saying goodbye to Cookie and Marco.
